We just got back from Tehuacana, TX recording.

The new record is going to be called “Quartz”
and will feature 29 songs of all new material.

No official release date is scheduled.

Should be good.

Yo—

We’ll be playing the Audiotree’s SXSW fun time on 3/11. Gotta hunt for us after that as far as Tejas goes! Very excited to play (for the first time?) with our old friends and groove-buddies The Soil and the Sun (check ‘em!)

But then we’re gonna post up in Tehuacana, TX and finish up our new record. Details to come, etc. It’s gonna be a lot of fun.

We’re also siked to play the much-lauded Red Rocks this summer with our friends the Alabama Shakes and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros on June 2. Maybe we’ll cut an obligatory live album at the same! We’re also going to add some tour dates for this summer later - as well as a TedTalk or 2 - so keep your eyes turned on.

Hey people in the net,

We’re doing some sweet stuff right now, and we’ll probably start making swift movies about it in the near future so keep ‘em peeped.

In the mean time, someone asked about shirts. Well, there they are and they can be yours for $14 (shipping included). They are very fancy and feature the 4 primary, surviving members of our band. We only have Medium and Large and 2 XL’s left so get them whilst you can. And remember: we encourage people of all ages and styles to alter shirts, so if this isn’t quite up to snuff for you - personally - then chop it up and make it yours: personally.

is there anywhere i can get the 'swagger' album on vinyl?

As of right now, Swagger is only on cassette and digital. However, there is talk of pressing it on vinyl. We’ll see.

We’re about to get ready to play some slick shows in the real-near future. Dec. 7 we’re down in the Birmingham with our buddies in Clear Plastic Masks again and also joined by Promised Land (!!!) which will rule so hard. We’re calling the show the Nashhham show.

Then Dec. 11-15 we’re playing with James Wallace and the Naked Light around the South land, culminating in a wild show on Dec. 15! Details to come so keep your internet feeds trolling. Reminders are in the “Live” section up derr.

Just got back from tour with Clear Plastic Mask/Banditos. Wow. Serious Party. Thanks to all for the support. We had a real good time. I’m working on a sick slide show of the wedding, arm wrestling, basement jams, bar fights, fireworks, chicken duels, and

snack quest.

Here’s whats coming up next. We’re playing East nashville underground next weekend. There’s some other rad groups involved and it’s pretty cheap. After that we’re super stoked to party with the wonderful Big Freedia

at the Exit/In. Then we head up to Indiana for the Pinostock Music festival which should be a real trip. All the people up there are righteous.

We then kick of our fall tour with the Alabama Shakes by playing Live on the Green here in Nashville. Last year at live on the Green I snuck into the Mayor’s private party and drank and ate like a god in a mighty tower. Planning to do the same this year.

We’re super stoked to play at the LoneWolf tonight in Bushwick with our good homies in Clear Plastic Mask! It’s gonna be stupid. Everyone from Terry’s is coming, all our friends, and the NYPD officers that ticketed us last night. And we made three t-shirt to sell on this tour alone. Be sure to come out and grab one on one of our stops. And we have two bottles of Swagger left. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee3eeeeeah.

We get the sweet New Yorkleans tour this month with Clear Plastic Masks and Banditos and we just added the dates with The Alabama Shakes in the Fall. It’ll be slick. And we’ll add some more dates real soon between now and then, so let’s do some things now and then.
