Playing with our friends tonight, AL Shakes, in Huntsville and then Birmingham. Sold out shows. Should be fun!

Wow. March has been pretty cool. The 10 days with Chrome Pony was great and Austin was great. We got to officially start working on a new album while on the way back. We stopped in Celeste, Texas where Matt’s from and crashed with his parents and partied. We set up in a super rad garage around old car/boats from the 50’s, and tracked for a couple days. It’s sounding prrrretty good. The album, which in currently unnamed, is going to be a double disc album with a more lucid form. I’m hoping to have it finished mid-summer so I can blast it through my headphones on my Jet-ski. There’s also some videos in the works and some other cool stuff. Thanks everyone that helped us out this last month (floors, food, drinks, laughs). We’re playing Record Store Day at the Groove and some  other shows too. I’ll post those tomorrow or something. Peace.

We leave tomorrow to go on a bit of a tour for a week and then head to Austin. Pretty excited. We’re traveling with the loved and revered Davis brothers rocking those Chrome Pony jamz. Should be a pretty righteous time. We’ll have the real deal “Swagger” Tapes and the “No Shot, Swoosh” 45s. Also we’ll have one vile of the signature “Swagger” fragrance. If you want to meet up and kick it, hit us up at 3134159669. Also we confirmed that at the end of March we’re playing two shows with the Alabama Shakes. O yeah, and on the way back from Austin we’re stopping to try and record the greater part of a new album in a huge bank in some small city of 700 people where Matt’s family lives.
